How to Become a Race Sponsor

Share in our promise to save lives

 Local sponsorship is critical to our being able to support local breast cancer programs and national research grants.  Sponsor gifts help underwrite Race expenses and, along with entry fees and donations from Race participants, go directly toward funding breast cancer services and research in Northern Nevada.  When you invest in a Susan G. Komen Northern Nevada Race for the Cure sponsorship, you invest in the lives of the people closest to you...the people of our community....your family, colleagues, neighbors, friends.  Up to 75 percent of net funds raised stay in Northern Nevada to support education, screening and treatment intiatives and a minimum of 25 percent is contributed to the Komen national research efforts. 

By becoming a sponsor of the 14th Annual Komen Northern Nevada Race for the Cure, your organization will be recognized for its commitment to fight breast cancer in our community.  Your sponsorship, whether in-kind or monetary, goes a long way in continuing our promise to save lives and end breast cancer forever.  Thanks to dedicated sponsors like you, our 2011 Race for the Cure was a tremendous success!  Last year, nearly 4,700 enthusiastic participants, which included 302 Survivors, raced to raise nearly $300,000 toward crossing the finish line to a world without breast cancer.  With an event this size, it is truly the generosity of sponsors and donors that make the Race a success year after year.

If you are interested in becoming a Sponsor of the 2012 Northern Nevada Race for the Cure®, please download and review the following files. You will need to complete and submit the 2012 Sponsor Contract.  Sponsors will be accepted through Race day; however, benefits begin to become limited as the Race comes closer.  The most important thing to keep in mind is that we work with all of our sponsors to ensure their sponsorship experience with our Race exceeds expectations.
